The senior bankers of Garros Group possess extensive transactional histories, both as advisors and principals. In total, we bring a combined 35 years of success in the business, and possess a solid track record of helping both companies and investors maximize value.

Prior investment banking firm experience includes ING Barings Furman Selz, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (previously Wasserstein Perella), Smith Barney and Credit Suisse.


Phillip A. Fresen
Managing Director

Phil has over fifteen years of investment banking experience encompassing M&A advisory engagements, public and private financings and strategic advisory services. His practice focus has been in the information services industry with a specialty expertise in technology-enabled marketing services, including Internet advertising and digital media. He brings an extensive network of industry relationships built over a decade to the firm.

Prior to the Internet boom in the mid-1990’s, Phil joined Furman Selz, a prominent mid-sized investment bank with a focus on the media and technology industries, and subsequently ING Barings upon its acquisition of Furman Selz. Phil helped lead the formation of an Internet Services group at Furman Selz ING Barings. In addition, Phil co-founded Gridley & Company, a boutique investment bank focused on the information services industry. He began his investment banking career at Kidder Peabody.

Phil earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he served as teaching assistant to renowned Professor of Finance, Jeremy J. Siegel. Phil graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University.

Corey D. Luskin, CFA
Managing Director

Corey brings fifteen years of investment banking and corporate development experience to the firm. He began his career as a banker to the Financial Services industry, serving clients in the insurance and brokerage sectors. Through this, he developed a focus on the information and technology aspects of the financial services industries, which he continues in his current practice.

Prior to joining Garros Group, Corey served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development for The Bisys Group, an outsourcing firm in the financial services industry. Before that, he served as Vice President in the financial institutions group of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, having joined its predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella & Co. in 1999.

Corey also served as Director of Strategic Planning for Insurance Services Office, Inc., a major provider of information services to the Property Casualty Insurance industry. He began his investment banking career at Smith Barney.

Corey earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA from University of Michigan. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

David J. Rosenzweig
Director

David has over nine years of investment banking experience spanning a wide range of M&A engagements and industry coverage. His transaction experience includes extensive public and private assignments including mergers and acquisitions, sales and divestitures, spin-offs, special committee advisory, squeeze outs, takeover defense analysis and various special situations. Over the course of his career, he has covered the retail, general industrial and technology industries.

Prior to joining Garros Group, David served as a Vice President in the M&A Group at Credit Suisse in New York. Before that, he was an Associate in the Credit Suisse Technology M&A Group in California. He began his career at Wasserstein Perella & Co. in New York.

David graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Management and Technology Dual Degree Program of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Economics (Finance Concentration) from The Wharton School, a B.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science and a Mathematics Minor. David was also a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
